Yanet College graduated students that we have trained for the 13th time in various fields of study in diploma, first degree, and second degree programs today, August 22, 2014, at the Oromo Cultural Center in Addis Ababa.
Assistant Professor Kedir Hussain is the head of the public health education section of the second-degree program at Yanet College. He stated at the graduation ceremony that apart from teaching, the college is working diligently in research and research that solves the problems of society, and also held a national conference where problem-solving research was presented.
The professor added, the college by doing various charity works; By renovating houses for the elderly who cannot afford them. He said that community service is fulfilling its responsibilities by conducting various capacity-building trainings free of charge and conducting research in collaboration with various health sector institutions.
On the other hand, the Dean of the college, Assistant Professor Samuel Desu, said that Yanet College has opened a new campus in Addis Ababa Campus 6 kilo will start teaching clinical pharmacy and clinical nursing in the next academic year. He said that he is preparing to open more campuses in regional cities such as Hawassa, Bahrdar, Adama, and Hosanna.
At the graduation ceremony, certificates and medals were presented to the graduating students who achieved the highest marks in each department, and the students who achieved the highest marks from the general students were awarded the guest of honor trophy.
